About Me

I am the Founder and Director of Nab ThatJob in Australia!Nab That Job in New Zealand! and Nab That Job in Canada!, and Australian, NZ & Canadian Migrant Job Application Specialist, assisting migrants from all over the world to successfully secure employment in these countries.

I am also the author of the eWorkBooks, "Australian Resumes: Secrets Revealed",

I am degree qualified in Business Management through the University of Queensland, Australia; with further studies in Organisational Psychology, gained through the University of London, UK.

I have gained more than 10 years work experience in Australia and Internationally in Human Resource Management and Recruitment, across several industries; including Tourism, Engineering, Government, Health Care, Engineering, Manufacturing and Finance.  I have expertise in assisting people to achieve their career dreams, and decided to specialize in the migrant market after several years experience working with this market and realizing that there was not a known company or service specifically for assisting migrants to be more successful when applying for jobs in Australia.

Nab That Job in Australia! not only assists migrants to prepare their resume and cover letter for the Australian job market, but also provides a regular newsletter with free tips and guidance to assist migrants through their process of applying for jobs in Australia.  Nab That Job in Australia! has also partnered with reputable migration agencies and other migrant specialists so that www.NabThatJob.com is a ‘one stop shop’ for migrants and potential migrants to Australia.

I have really enjoyed my time assisting migrants from all over the globe to find employment in Australia and find satisfaction in offering free, valuable information to those people who need it most.

Hey Nadine,

I am going to school here right now. I am just finishing my dental school and then I am going to try and move over to Oz. Probably somewhere in Queensland. I used to go to school at UQ.

Hi Nadine, I did a Bachelor of Business Management, followed by a semester of Entrepreneurship, then I worked for a littlebit and saved some money then found out I was running out of time to apply for the visa and my current one was expiring so I extended as a tourist, then got a student visa once again. I am now on a student visa doing a Cert 1 on Fitness (Personal Training) but I really want to stop being a student. The business we have is of bringing goods from Peru, we got our first shipment in but its still in its early stages. I hope you can help, Thanks

Hi Nadine

As you ask me about my life in Sydney I would say this has been the most exiting experience so far. But the only problem that I have is the opportunity to get into a job because of the restriction of my visa which allows me only to work 20 hours per week. I have good experience and knowledge in my field but employers in Australia do not rely on overseas experience, can you give some advice about that.

Venezuela is a beautiful country. However, I would say that Caracas (the capital city) is very crowded and dangerous. You have to be always with someone who knows the city very well. Never, ever, talk to someone on the street and just trust in your friends in Caracas. If you want to visit nice places you can go to Margarita Island, Los Roques, and the rainforest (La gran sabana). I hope you can enjoy your trip and be careful all the time.

Howzit Nadine, life is good, Soccer 2010 is an exciting time to be a part of South Africa - just need Bafana to do their part ... if all else fails we always have the Boks we can rely on.
Nadine, I am open to any major metropolitan area; we have very good friends who live on the Gold Coast, my wife's brothers live in Sydney and Perth and my niece is attending Melbourne Uni. Brisbane's appeal is the lifestyle and weather. As a family we are able to adapt, we lived in Dubai for 3 years and enjoyed the experience. I will send my cv to you on your email for you to evaluate. If the response to my cv is positive I am able to make arrangements to come across to Australia for interviews. Thanks for your feedback.

Hi Nadine
I submitted an application for a 176 (family sponsored) visa in April 2009, however due to the change in the processing times and now with the latest developments on the CSL it would appear that it would only be appproved in 2012. I am currently exploring options for alternatives - it would seem that my best option at the moment would be to find an employer willing to sponsor me - this solution presents its own challenges in finding a sponsor. My skills and experience are predominantly in Senior Marketing Management in the FMCG industry, although I am currently in the financial and services industry,. Any suggestions you may make would be greatly appreciated.

HI NADINE,I WAS WONDERING IF MY AGE WILL MAKE SOMEONE HESITATE TO GIVE ME A POSITION IN THEIR COMPANY?
DO THEY PREFER YOUNG PEOPLE IN AUSTRALIA LIKE THEY DO HERE IN GREECE.
I REMEMBER ONCE UPON A TIME THAT AGE DID NOT MATTER,EXPERIENCE WAS WHAT THEY PREFERRED IN AUSTRALIA.
THANKS.
