Hi Gonzalo,

Finding the first job in Australia can be the most challenging, but once you have Australian experience behind you, it will be much easier.

My advice is not to give up, and keep applying for part time positions. You could also try volunteering for some organisations to gain experience. Non-Profit organisations are the best for this.

Having a strong, Australian CV that really sells your experience and skills is recommended in your situation. Let us know if you would like assistance with this.

Most of all, stay positive and don't give up!

Cheers,

Nadine

Thank you for the tips, Gonzalo. It seems our plans will be postponed now to a later date. I have heard that Margarita Island is a place we should visit, so glad to hear you also recommend that.

How are you enjoying your studies, and living in Sydney?

Venezuela! I might be visiting there in a few months´ time. Any recommendations on places to visit?

As a student, you will have restricted work hours per week, correct? Will you be looking to work in your occupation part time if you can find something?

If you require assistance with your job search, feel free to send your CV through to info@nabthatjob.com, and we will provide you with our recommendations and quote.

We look forward to assisting you further!

Cheers,

Nadine
