Level III Job Search Packages Now Available!

Posted on June 17, 2011 at 8:22 AM

You may be aware that our Level III Job Search and Job Sponsorship Packages have been at capacity for the past several months; meaning that temporarily we could not take any further clients on for these packages.

However, we are pleased to advise that the Level III Packages are now available to all of our members, and we no longer have a pre-qualifying process.

Changes to the Level III Job Search / Sponsorship Packages

Our Level III Job Search and Job Sponsorship Packages have changed slightly in the following ways:

  • There is no longer a fee of $1897 payable to Nab That Job if we are able to place you in a position in Australia
  • There is no longer a 6 month on-going job search assistance service included in the package
  • The package includes your CV remaining on our database indefinitely, so that we can contact you if one of our recruitment partners has positions in Australia that suit your skills
  • The number of companies that your CV will be distributed to has increased to up to 100
  • The number of suitable jobs that your CV will be distributed to has increased to up to 50 Reasons for Changes to the Level III Packages

Success Fee & 6 Month On-Going Job Search Change

The main reason that we cancelled the success fee and the 6 month on-going job search is because during the past 6-12 months, although we have secured several sponsored jobs in Australia for our customers on the Level III Package; a large portion of these customers changed their minds at the last minute, turning down the offers of sponsored employment, and deciding to remain in their home countries instead. This was due to unforeseen circumstances, as well as customers realising late in the process that it would be a better decision to remain in their home countries.

We in no way blame any of our customers for these decisions, as in many cases it was due to circumstances out of their control.  However; with the many many hours of work and effort put into these 6 month job searches being at the cost of Nab That Job, it is no longer feasible to include this in the Level III Package.

Further, we feel that it is of much better benefit to our customers if we "teach them how to fish", so to speak, by giving them a boosted job search in the first month or two, and guiding them how to continue their search on their own.

Keeping Your CV on Our Database

Nab That Job has over the past 3 years forged business partnerships with many Australian recruitment agencies who have positions that are open to overseas applicants.

These recruitment partners advise us on a weekly basis of the current vacancies that they are trying to fill that are open to Nab That Job's members (ie you).

By keeping your CV on our database indefinitely, we can consider you for these roles as they become available and submit your CV to our recruitment partners.

Increased Number of Companies & Jobs for CV Distribution

Experience has shown that the more companies and jobs that receive your CV, the more likely we are to find a company who is interested in your experience and skills. It is therefore a numbers game; and in saying that, we have found that it quite often requires a minimum of 100 companies to receive your CV before we receive a positive response.

Our aim is to ensure that you have the best chance possible of finding employment in Australia, and we feel by increasing the number of companies and jobs that we send your CV out to with our highest recommendations; we are in turn increasing your chance of securing suitable employment in Australia.

By this I mean, if you know where to look for jobs, you will more likely find them. Just like someone who wants to find fish. If you are taught how to fish, you will then know where to find the fish and have more success.

I hope this helps.

All the best!
