I have been in Australia since 24th November 2010 and yet to find employment, I came over on a contirbutory parent visa, paid a lot of money for it, and have been unable to secure any work. I was a credit controller and have done almost everything with my previous employer, from P.A. to stores control, invoicing, data entry, credit control, stock takes, to relief switchboard, importing and export documentation, customer liasion etc etc everything administrative. I am willing to learn, if only I can be given the chance. I am have good communication skills, am loyal and enjoy working as part of a team.
My husban and myself are contemplating on immigrating to Austrialia. I just need information regarding the following:
Plus Minus the amount of Dollars we will be earning (My husband has a BTech Digree in IT Communication Networks. And i have my secretarial matric and 3 years experrience in Admin.)
How much is the cost of living there. We would like to bring my almost 2 year old daughter there and hopefully have another son or daughter there.
How regularly do we get paid there, because I am hearing differnet stories.
How will we get there
What do we need to fill in
Is the job garaunteed (in other words if we get there, we won't be shown the hand and said no thanks?)
How does the whole process work?

I have already decided to emigrate and relocate my family to Australia, due to our political circumstances in South Africa we are currently experiencing a total collapse of economy and non white employment crises. ( i do not mean this in a racist manner). I will appreciate any type of work available in Australia as i am both technically experienced and academically qualified and very experienced.
I am currently working for a reputed Automobile OEM in South Africa and would like to migrate to Australia.
Can someone guide me in this regard, would be highly appreciated.

Best to find a reputable immigration agent in South Africa to assist with the PR process. You sound as though you would be well qualified - Australia is screaming for skilled people.
Before you go though- and most immigration agents will not know this or explain it - you need to find out how to set yourself and your family up there first- financially.
Learn how to:
Have the Australian Tax Office pay you.
Establish a credit rating BEFORE you go - or pay CASH for everything for 18 months.
Get a TFN (tax file number)
